New in Modular DS: Pre-maintenance reports and per-site white label settings

We’re back with our second release of March, and this one brings some exciting new features to help you sell your WordPress maintenance services more effectively.
On top of that, we’ve improved the overall reporting experience and introduced per-site white label settings for the Modular DS plugin.
Let’s take a look at what’s new.
New pre-maintenance reports
Getting a client to understand why their WordPress site needs maintenance is not always easy. Even when the need is clear, explaining the value of your service and turning that into a convincing proposal takes time and practice.
That is exactly the gap that pre-maintenance reports are built to help with.
From the Reports section in Modular DS, you can now generate a report for any of your connected sites and use it to highlight everything that needs attention. That includes things like:
- Pending updates
- Detected vulnerabilities
- Security and health recommendations (critical and minor errors)
- Pending database optimizations
- PageSpeed performance score
- Additional tasks you want to include as pending work
In short, pre-maintenance reports offer a visual and professional way to make your proposal more tangible and help potential clients see the value of your maintenance services.

More improvements across client reports
We’ve redesigned reports to make them cleaner and more professional overall, with every section now feeling more consistent and unified.
In addition, all the options included in pre-maintenance reports are also available in your scheduled reports in Modular DS.
That means you can now show in any of your reports which updated plugins, themes, or WordPress versions had vulnerabilities, along with critical security and site health issues, making it easier to highlight the risks you helped address or prevent.
And if there are still pending updates, optimizations, or custom tasks, you can include those too, so the client can see what has already been done and what’s still left to do.

Per-site white label settings
Until now, white label settings for the Modular Connector plugin were configured at the account level, meaning the same setup was applied across all your connected sites.
With this update, you can configure them individually for each site: enable or disable them, and even use different white label details on different sites.
This is especially useful if you work with multiple brands, different types of clients, or projects that need their own level of customization.
Per-site white label is available on Business and Enterprise plans.

We hope these updates help you turn your maintenance reports into an even more useful tool for winning new WordPress maintenance clients and retaining them over time.
