April 2025 Update: Backup restoration and updater improvements

You can now restore your backups directly from Modular DS!

Yes, this has been the most requested feature by our community since we started. And that’s why we are very excited to tell you that it is now available for you to start using it in its beta version.

But this is not the only new feature, so read on:

Backup restoration

If you have a problem in any of your websites due to updates, content changes, hacks… and you have a backup in Modular DS, now you will be able to restore it very easily from the tool itself.

Here is a guide on how to do it.

Updater improvements

In the last few weeks we have released several improvements and bug fixes in the plugin and theme updater:

• Premium plugins updates: You can now update from Modular DS plugins like Perfmatters, SEOPress PRO, PowerPack for Beaver Builder, WP Activity Log PRO and many more. As long as you have an active license.
• Visual error feedback: When an update fails, you will be able to see the error message in the updater itself.
